On Thursday, April 11, Ermias Asghedom, known to the world as rapper Nipsey Hussle, was funeralized in a televised event that captured the nation. Since he was gunned down in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, the once-underground rapper who was recently nominated for a Grammy has become a lionized figured in the hip-hop community.
We canvased the campus to find out just how he was being remembered and noticed the legacy that is being left behind is so much bigger than music.
