The Puente learning community and club of Las Positas College in Livermore, Calif. recently made a donation to Border Angels which is “volunteer based, non profit organization that advocates for human rights (and) humane immigration.” Puente is “is a learning community with the goal of increasing the transfer-going rate of educationally disadvantaged students.”
