On Oct. 20, 2020, Jonah Nicholas was appointed the Vice Chancellor of Business Services. Nicholas is replacing former Vice Chancellor Douglas Roberts, who had served in that position starting on March 11, 2019.
Nicholas will be in charge of administering purchases and receiving funding from non-district entities on the behalf of the district. Entities he will be interacting with on behalf of the district include the Bay Area Community College Consortium, the California School-Age Consortium, United Way Bay Area, the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, the Community College League of California and the U.S. Department of Education, according to publicly released records from the district
Previously Nicholas was the Chief Financial Officer for the Contra Costa Community College District.
