The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), which operates the Wheels buses, has announced that it will begin collecting ridership fares beginning on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020. Las Positas College employees and students may ride the Wheels bus without paying the ridership fare if they obtain a free LPC identification card from the Admissions & Records Office.
The Admissions & Records Office is open to serve the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Services & Administration Building, Building 1600.
Route 30R of Wheels serves Las Positas College with service every 30 minutes. The 30R goes westbound to BART in Dublin, eastbound to LLNL via downtown and East Avenue. The bus connects with BART and ACE trains. For the schedule: https://www.wheelsbus.com/route/route-30r/
