Las Positas wanted redemption in their first match against Ohlone College of the season. The Hawks were starving for vengeance, as their previous match last season cost them the opportunity to compete in the 2021 Northern California Playoffs.

Now, the nest faces Ohlone once again.

Ohlone struck first halfway through the first quarter to make it 1-0 early. Las Positas quickly answered to tie the game at 1 . However, Ohlone finished with the heat, and the first quarter ended with Ohlone winning 2-1.

The second quarter proved to be prosperous for LPC. Their defense was on full display as they held their opponents to 0 throughout the second frame. They eventually put up 3  goals, making the score 4-2 in favor of LPC going into halftime.

Las Positas quickly added to their lead in the third quarter, but Ohlone put up a fight. Ohlone secured  2 consecutive goals to make the score 5-4 in favor of LPC. LPC ended the third quarter scoring 2 unanswered goals, and the lead snowballed.

In the fourth quarter, Las Positas scored 5  goals, while Ohlone could only muster 3.The final score was 12-8, with Las Positas coming out on top. The win by LPC marks their third consecutive victory.

LPC will play 1 last game before the Northern California Crossover Tournament and the Northern California Championships. The Hawks boast a 17-10 record as of Oct. 19 and have high hopes of achieving success in the NorCal Championships.
