On Dec. 9th Ashley McHale will be speaking before the LPC Math Society about cryptography. The seminar titled, “Mixed Messages: A Brief Discussion of Cryptography,” will discuss cryptography, forms of encryption and their development and use throughout modern history.
McHale is a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas Tech University. She has worked for Dayton Air Force Research Laboratory and has been teaching mathematics since 2001.
Members of the Math Society say they are looking forward to the event.
Club representative Jesse Singh recommends that anyone with an interest in cryptography attend to learn about the subject. The meeting is at 3 pm on Dec. 9.
