On Tuesday, Nov. 5, Las Positas College students gathered in front of the Library and the 1600 building to talk to companies about job opportunities. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. stores from the Paragon Outlets were in the quad helping students find jobs.

Brian, from the Puma outlet store, said the fair was not as busy as was expected. “Normally you see people lined up at these things,” he said.

Chanelle Bautista, from Last Call by Neiman Marcus, said that most stores at the fair were probably expecting a lot more people, based on the turnout at the grand opening job fair on Sept. 11, 2012. The stores at the job fair today, however, were only looking for seasonal hires, with the chance to become permanent employees.
