The Livermore Performing Arts Center is hosting multiple online and in-person events this October. Events include concerts, art exhibitions, art lessons, open mic nights and Livermore Artwalk Light 2020. Check out https://livermorearts.org/ to see a full schedule of events and exhibitions.

Though currently closed for live-action performances, the Livermore Performing Arts Center and Bankhead Theater continue to host a variety of events and streamed live performances. As of now, many performances are free to attend with registration.

Attending a concert or event hosted by the Livermore Performing Arts Center is an easy way to experience the arts while social distancing.

StarsDay Open Mic

Perform or enjoy music, singing and poetry from home. StarsDay Open Mic Night gives aspiring musicians the opportunity to play for a live audience.

Saturday, Oct. 10

Artwalk Light 2020

Join Artwalk Light to view, enjoy and purchase handcrafted art. View the temporary sculpture “Where Do We Go From Here?” and admire art provided by various exhibitors such as KathieStudio, Autumn Lane Studio, Hudson River Inlay and the Colored Pencil Society of America.

Along with exhibitors, Artwalk Light 2020 will feature an exclusive display of art by high school students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. In addition, the new collection “Best of Bothwell” will be available for its first public debut.

Live music will be provided by Las Positas College alumni. Strict COVID-19 safety measures will be in place during the festival.

National Theater Film Series: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Watch a live-streamed performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Nicholas Hytner. The performance will be streamed from Bridge Theater in London. 

  • Viewing will take place in Bankhead Theater. 
  • Tickets available from $20.
