If you want to know how to get a library card for your local library, the LPC library staff will be conducting a virtual Library Card Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Participating libraries are Alameda County Library (Dublin branch), Contra Costa County libraries, the Livermore Library and the Pleasanton Library.
In addition to having curbside pickup services, the libraries also provide access to e-books, streaming videos, e-mags, music and other services.
Alameda County Shelter in Place anticipates libraries opening for physical visits soon, so you may want to get your library cards soon.
