Livermore residents, family and friends came out Tuesday night to celebrate the life of one of their own.
“It was a wonderful way to get our community together to let the Chestermans know how amazing their daughter is,” says Samantha Billings.
Kristina Chesterman, 21, was hit by a drunk driver on Sunday, Sept. 22 while riding her bicycle back to the California State University Chico campus.
She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to news reports, Chesterman was pronounced brain dead at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.
