Dear Editor:
I started attending Las Positas College in 2011. I came to take an Adaptive Weight training class. I do have a disability; therefore, I am able to take that class. Everyone in that class has a disability. You have to have a disability in order to take this class.
I have been unable to take this class since spring of 2018. This is due to lack of enrollment. At the time Diane Staedel taught the class. She was very good at her job. She is now retired. The new instructor is Kate Faix. I am not getting a chance to work with Kate because the class has been canceled in 2019.
The College could do a better job at promoting the class. The Community needs this class! I need this class!!!
