For the movie lovers out there, some good news has arrived.
The Livermore 13 Cinemas located on First Street in Livermore are having a promotional deal where every Tuesday, all movies, all day, are five dollars.
According to Samantha Babel, a manager at the cinemas, “It’s very recent, we’re trying to get more people to come in so we’re trying to do a new deal.”
Since many students are interested in movies, and most movies are expensive for students, this provides an affordable alternative.
The newly discounted movies are here for a while, since there is no set ending date to this deal.
“As far as I know it’s not going to end any time soon, they haven’t really said anything else,” said Babel.
For those on a budget, this is sure to help out, especially for young couples looking for a date night out on the town who may not be able to afford full priced movies.
“It’s even better at night honestly, because it’s normally $10.50,” said Babel.
Tuesdays are relatively slow days in the movie industry so getting more business is an absolute must for this theater.
As long as the cinemas get more traffic from this deal, they will be keeping it as policy according Babel saying “As long as people keep coming in more, then I’m sure it will stick around.”
It is also worth noting that holidays will be excluded from this deal.
