Hey, Will the Express Chef here. I thought I would try to find all of you some of my favorite recipes. Each week we’ll highlight my favorite fast and easy recipes for your cooking pleasure. As we go along, I’ll be bringing you tips and tricks that I’ve learned to help your culinary talents grow.OK, so I know a lot of you may look at this recipe with caution but I promise you that this tastes great. The best part about it is that it’s healthy. You can’t even taste the raisins.Ingredients

1/2 cup of water
1/3 cup of raisins
3/4 cup of ketchup
3 tablespoons Worchesterhire sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons white vinegar
Salt and pepper
Steaks, your choice of cut

  1. Combine water and raisins in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave, covered until water starts to boil. Let it stand until raisins are soft.
  2. Add raisins, ketchup, Worchestershire, mustard and vinegar in a blender. Blend until smooth. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pat steaks dry before grilling or searing. Depending on how you want it cooked, pan sear or grill. After steaks are done, put on a plate and tent with tinfoil for a few minutes. Serve with sauce and your favorite vegetable.

Tenting the meat allows it to stay juicy and finish cooking while you set up the plates. To tent, make a little dome and place it over the cooked meat. This will help the steak regain color as well as keep the outside nice and crisp while the inside stays juicy.
